Ari: the neighbourhood that runs on coffee
Ari is leafy, low-rise and packed with independent cafés and brunch spots. It is the easiest place to café-hop on foot, with a new roaster seemingly every block.
Thonglor and Ekkamai: design-led roasters
These neighbourhoods lean stylish: minimalist spaces, single-origin pour-overs and serious brew bars. Good for a slow afternoon between meals.
Old Town: coffee in a heritage shophouse
Some of the most atmospheric cafés sit inside restored century-old shophouses near the river and Chinatown, pairing great coffee with real history. Many are unmarked, a local knows the doors.
